Wooden toys are an invaluable addition to the playroom. Their inherent simplicity makes them great props for stimulating little imaginations and building motor skills. Wooden toys are an excellent dollar value because of their durability. For example, babies start out manipulating and mouthing colorful wooden blocks. As baby grows, the same blocks are fun to carry, throw, and stack. Eventually these blocks are used to build towers, houses, and more complex structures- only to be knocked down and built again. Many favorite wooden toys, like our baby walker and two storey dollhouse, become family heirlooms and are passed down for generations.
